Indian 100%silk single strand laceweight( comes out at just below a 4ply in weight)  600m per 100gm skein - a truly lovely super soft silk perfect for lace, 2 strands knitted together would give a balanced yarn for knitted garments coming out at approx an aran weight.

Swiss 2 ply silk lace weight  as above, 600m per 100gm skein, a very beautiful silk, will give a different texture to the Indian silk. Perfect for lace of knitted garments.

 SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS-SWISS CASHMERE/SILK

Truly an amazing yarn in the Yarngasmic category!!! Worthy of triple exclamation marks. Perfect for lace and/or garments. I just go all wurbly over this yarn. 65%cashmere/35% silk, spun with a lot of magic by Swiss yarn geniuses. 400m per 100gm skein. Slightly above a 4ply weight. Is this as good as it gets? Must be very close. See what you think. One skein is enough for a scarf

35% Baby Camel/35%Silk. A beautiful soft yarn, just above a 4 ply in weight 400m per 100gms. This available in the most gorgeous warm soft camel, or hand dyed in beautiful jewelled colourways.

SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS- SWISS SILK WITH KID MOHAIR

This gorgeous combination is one strand of silk wrapped round with one strand on very fine kid mohair, very soft and just gorgeous to knit with. Approx 350m per 100gm skein. Knits up at around a DK weight. I love this yarn 1 skein is enough for a scark.

Seriously totally fab laceweight kid silk from Japan. I have just knitted the lace cape from Victorian Lace Today in this yarn (see recent blog for photos)I could burble on about how stunning this yarn is for ever. Try it out for youself.

100% PURE CASHMERE

£18.00 per 100gms

True Laceweight - very fine approx 1400m per 100gms 2 ply yarn

Heavy Laceweight -also fine but approx 930m per 100gms 3 ply yarn

For me is this is close to as good to it gets for cashmere, the finest top of the range cashmere, super soft and serious quality.

Cashmere needs to be treated with respect but treat it with respect and it will make you very very happy when you knit with it. Juts lovely to knit with.
